wrong reading
Definition: Image, text etc. that is laterally reversed, usually with respect to emulsion side facing the reader. * Used in pre-press or printing work to describe appearance of film or plate when correctly set up e.g. "emulsion-up wrong-reading" means ' when the emulsion side of the film faces upwards the text should be laterally reversed (i.e. not right reading)'. * Also known as reverse reading.
