Definition: (1) Noun: appearance, arrangement or composition of a scene or subject for photography. * It will depend on factors such as (a) perspective or viewpoint of camera (b) disposition of elements in the subject being viewed (c) focal length of lens in use (d) format ratio of image as set by film or film-gate. (2) Verb: (1) to look at or watch a film or broadcast, etc. (2) to look at or examine an image through some device e.g. stereoscopic viewer, binoculars, etc.
