Definition: Adjective: (1) ~ colour: using three colour sources or filters to reproduce a range of colours e.g. colour monitors or LCD screens. (2) ~ colour theory: pscyho-physiological model of colour vision that says colour discrimination is based on three distinct types of light sensors in the eye, each with peak sensitivities in three different parts of the visible spectrum, namely, red, green and blue.
