throughput
Definition: Measure of rate at which a device or system can process or output material: e.g. number of scans can be done in a day, number of A3 prints can be printed in an hour. * Usually measured when device is in full swing i.e. not counting warm-up and initialisation times but including down-time for replenishment e.g. to refill ink cartridges.
