Definition: Arrangement for viewing of projected image in which the screen lies between the viewer and the projector, with the image being projected onto the back of the screen. * The slide must be placed back-to-front, to ensure the image is not seen laterally reversed. * Used where the viewing area cannot be darkened; also in portable projection systems.
