photorealistic
Definition: Print or other output which more or less closely resembles a photographic print. * May be used to refer to 24-bit colour. When a claim becomes a fact The term 'photorealistic' has not received a standardised and recognised definition, so it must remain more of a claim than a statement of fact -- although of course some printer manufacturers might want to make a strong claim to fact. The problem is that what looks 'photographic' to an untrained eye can be obviously not photorealistic to the expert. And being a photographic print rests on more than image quality alone.
