Definition: Adjective: (1) ~ output: maximum intensity e.g. of flash-bulb. * The synchronisation of a camera shutter is timed so that it is fully open at the highest light intensity of a bulb. (2) ~ delay: the time interval between the initiation of the flash and its reaching peak output. (2) ~ wavelength: that wavelength at which a source of radiation emits at the highest power.
