one-shot
Definition: (1) Imaging device which makes a colour record during a single, brief exposure. * As opposed to those which make three separate exposures or require a long exposure to allow a photo-detector array to scan the image. (2) Chemical preparation which is designed to be used once, then discarded e.g. one-shot developer. * Such preparations are not designed to be replenished.
