graphics tablet
Definition: Input device for fine or precise control of cursor or brush when used in graphics, painting or image manipulation program. * Consists of the tablet, an electrostatically charged flat board connected to the computer, and the pen, which interacts with board to give precise information on the location of the pen tip. Most systems are also sensitive to the pressure applied to the tip. Movements of the pen cause corresponding movements of the cursor on screen. * The best systems use cordless pens.
