Definition: Photographic recording of a subject that flouresces. * Photography of subjects that luminesce for shorter than 10s after end of application of excitation energy. * Characterised by need for extremely high sensitivity of photographic material, use of very wide aperture optics and sensitivity to narrow wave-bands of light. * Used in forensic examination, microscopy and dermatology, etc.
