extrude
Definition: To create a three-dimensional solid by defining a cross-section and a path along which the cross-section runs: the volume thus enclosed is the extruded solid. * Used in computer graphics and 3-D modelling programs. * The extrusion may be made more complex by defining rotations and changes in scale, even distortions, of the cross-section as it traverses the path.
