Definition: Accessory used in projection printing to (a) hold printing paper in position (b) hold paper relatively flat (c) provide non-printing margins if required. * Easel may use clips or retaining masks to hold paper or, rarely, vacuum power (sucking air through small holes under the paper) to hold paper flat where critical sharpness is needed.
