convergence
Definition: (1) The coming together of light-rays or a bundle of rays which progressively becomes smaller. * Typically the rays coming from a convex or positive lens are convergent. (2) The turning of forward-looking eyes so that the optical axes meet at a near object being viewed. (3) The coincidence or meeting at the mask of a colour monitor of the three electron beams for each colour.
