colour compensating filter

Definition: Lightly coloured filters in range of densities in red, green, blue, cyan, magenta and yellow designed to produce to match with precision the colour balance of film to ambient light. * These filters do not produce the conversion of e.g. daylight film to tungsten light. * Designated e.g. CC05R meaning: colour compensating of 5 density units in red.
