Definition: Test for lightfastness: prints are compared with a set of eight pieces of wool each dyed with a different dye graded to fade after a set exposure to light. * Scale is number of pieces of wool which have faded after the exposure needed to fade the sample: one is poor lightfastness, eight is excellent.
