Definition: (1) All the material produced at the same time and place under identical conditions and therefore sharing identical charateristics of e.g. sensitivity, contrast, colour balance, saturation, etc. (2) All the items which may be processed together by the same regime e.g. (a) all the files in a folder which will be converted from TIFF to JPEG format (b) the films which will be processed at push a third stop.
