antisolar point

Definition: A point in space reached by the extension of the straight line connecting the sun to the observer's eye looking at the sun through the atmosphere of the earth. * NB: This point lies above the line joining the actual position of the sun and the observer's eyes because of the refraction of the sun's rays by the atmosphere.
