Definition: Image that appears three-dimensional when viewed through a pair of spectacles of complementary colour filters. * It is composed of two superimposed views of slightly different perspective, one printed in a colour complementary to the other and printed slightly out of register. *The filters in the spectacles are arranged so that each eye sees only the image intended for it e.g. green filter over left eye sees the green, left-hand, image while cutting out the red, right-hand, image.
