Definition: Visual Display Unit: monitor screen with which you monitor computer activity. We'll see you again, maybe never Talk about VDUs and you mark yourself as an Ancient, one who might actually owned and used a BBC Microcomputer or even the Sinclair Z-something. Oh, yes, VDU is a hang-over from them misty days when the ability to display anything from a computer was something to discuss over coffee.
