NTSC
Definition: National Television Standards Committee: broadcast and video standard used in United States and certain other dependencies. * Runs at 525 lines, 60 fields and 30 frames per second. * Based on YIQ colour model. Naughty, that seems cunning Don't listen to those who tell you that NTSC is actually the acronym for Never Twice the Same Color. Though there is no doubt that by to-day's standards, the image quality is pretty dire. Hence the rapid adoption of DVD videos viewable on high-quality computer monitors.
