Magic Wand tool

Definition: Digital image manipulation 'tool' e.g. in Photoshop: used to select pixels more or less similar in value to those first sampled. * Controlled by 'tolerance': low tolerance selects pixels very similar to the sample, high tolerance selects pixels only a little similar to the sample i.e. more pixels will be selected. * Pixels may be selected 'contiguous' i.e. all touching or 'non-contiguous'.
