HSB
Definition: Hue Saturation & Brightness: colour model in which a vertical axis measures brightness or lightness, another axis measures saturation and a third axis mutually perpendicular to the others measures hue. * Used in colour pickers in software as the model is fairly intuitive e.g. saturated colours are shown on the outside of the wheel, becoming less saturated towards the centre, which is white. A separate control adjusts darkness. Other configurations may be seen.
