Definition: CIE daylight series illuminant corresponding to noon mid-latitude daylight. * White balance standard used to calibrate monitor screens: used primarily for domestic television sets and sRGB colour space. * White is correlated to colour temperature of 6504 K. * Recommended by some authors for colour print soft-proofing, but many find it too yellow.
